The durable construction and superb optics make this 4.5-14x50 riflescope an ideal choice for accurate long-range shooting.Leupold Mark 4 LR/T scopes are made of aircraft-quality aluminum to provide years of service. These accessories are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. Their matte black finish looks great on your gun and provides the stealth you want by not throwing off reflections that could reveal your position. The scopes are 12.5 inches long with a weight of 22 ounces. The 5.5-inch tube has a diameter of 30 millimeters.The optics on this Leupold scope, including the 50-millimeter objective lens, are made with proprietary innovations that give maximum performance. The Xtended Twilight Lens System uses wavelength-specific coatings to ensure that you can use every last minute of evening light. The coatings specifically allow more of the blue-violet twilight spectrum through while still transmitting the full visible range of light. Every external surface of the lenses is also coated with Leupold’s DiamondCoat 2 coating. This increases the amount of light that passes through the lenses to give you greater clarity and brightness. DiamondCoat 2 also greatly improves the ability of the lens of these spotting scopes to resist scratches and abrasions.The lead-free lenses of the Mark 4 LR/T are blackened around the edges to channel more light to your eye and give you a brighter image with more contrast. The large eye box with a lockable fast-focus eyepiece lets you sight your target more quickly. You'll be able to get a clear image without having your eye lined up precisely behind the eyepiece, allowing you to get an accurate shot off more quickly.The side focus of this scope offers a clear advantage in tactical situations. It eliminates the need to reach to the front of the scope to adjust the magnification. This means you can make adjustments with quicker, smaller movements. The scope also has a generous eye relief of 4.5 inches at 4.5x and 3.6 inches at 14x. It gives you a linear field of view of 19-feet at the lower magnification and 7.6 feet at the higher setting. You can make .25 click MOA adjustments through a range of 100 MOA using the tactical turrets. The turrets have Leupold’s twin bias spring erector system that gives long wear and reduces stress on the internal mechanism.The Leupold Mark 4 LR/T riflescopes are available with one of three reticles—the Mil-Dot, Duplex, or Tactical Milling. They are waterproofed with an advanced argon/krypton blend that ensures that they will stay waterproof and fog-proof for life. They are also impervious to thermal shock.
