The JL Audio 15W0 (MPN: 15W0) is a 15-inch automotive subwoofer with a continuous RMS power handling rating of 500 watts and a recommended amplifier power of 150-500 watts. It has 4-Ohm impedance and a free air resonance of 24.4 Hz. The JL Audio car subwoofer is equipped with proprietary Dynamic Motor Analysis that works to provide tight and clean bass frequencies with reduced distortion and true-to-life transients. The JL Audio 15W0 15-inch automotive subwoofer also boasts an elevated cooling design in which slots above the top plate of the 2.5-inch voice coil draw in cool air in an effort to enhance power handling and sound quality. The JL Audio car subwoofer has been optimized for use in a sealed enclosure that is 15.75 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 18 inches deep, or a ported enclosure that measures 18 inches tall by 20 inches wide by 18.5 inches deep.
