The Acoustic Energy AE 109 speakers are a set of floor-standing speakers for use with home stereo systems. The peak handling power per tower within the Acoustic Energy stereo speakers set is 125 watts. The home stereo speakers require a minimum frequency response of 35 Hz, and the speaker set can utilise a maximum frequency response of 22 kHz. Sensitivity of 90 dB is handled by the Acoustic Energy AE 109, as is a 6-Ohm impedance. The Acoustic Energy stereo speakers are magnetically shielded with gold-plated binding posts. Dual 110-mm drivers are integrated into each tower unit in the home stereo speakers to provide the sound output for this set. The speakers can be combined with other speakers as part of a surround sound set-up or can be used as a standalone speaker set. Different sound modes such as Dolby Digital, standard stereo, or monotone sound output provide high-quality output when played through the speakers.
