I installed it on my old 2019 MacBook Pro and the image is great. Installation is a bit complicated, but not difficult, and there are lots of tutorials online. Just buy some tools, have a clean working area and take your time. My only real complaint is the “Warranty Void” tamper sticker that was put on the lid. It wasn’t placed anywhere that would have detected intrusion, and was annoying to remove and clean off.
